The agents of Working Group JACKDAW continue their investigation into the unsettling…and potentially unnatural…events surrounding the Bernier family of Tampa, FL. Their hunt takes them to Chicago, IL, where Special Agent Coldwell and Dr. McCarthy close in on a potential suspect. They soon learn, however, that the tables can turn on them quicker than the squeeze of a trigger…
Black Project Gaming’s debut episode! Join us as we dive into “Sweetness,” a scenario written by Dennis Detwiller for the Delta Green roleplaying game. A loving family is under siege by an unnatural threat, and it’s up to the men and women of Working Group JACKDAW to identify and contain that threat.
Heya, folks! Vince here. First and foremost, I’d like to sincerely thank you for stopping by and checking out our site. You’ll notice it’s still very much a work in progress. Don’t worry; we’ll keep working on it until we feel it’s where it should be. For now, it’s a more than suitable home for our podcast episodes and general information on Black Project Gaming.
So, what is Black Project Gaming? Long story short, it’s a bi-weekly podcast featuring a group of friends and me playing tabletop roleplaying games (TTRPGs). We’re starting off by playing Delta Green, an RPG created by Dennis Detwiller, Adam Scott Glancy, and John Scott Tynes. Our first scenario will be “Sweetness,” which revolves around a family being tormented by an unnatural threat. It’s up to our intrepid Agents to confront and neutralize that threat. Once we’ve completed “Sweetness,” I’ll run my players through the six scenarios contained in A Night at the Opera.
In between sessions, I’ll be working on developing my own scenarios and campaigns for the Delta Green RPG. I’m also building an original setting and campaign for the 5th Edition of Dungeons & Dragons. The elevator pitch is it’s a fantasy steampunk setting embroiled in a Cold War-type conflict, and the players will take on the roles of recently recruited covert intelligence operatives. Think equal parts Agents of SHIELD and The Americans. I developed enough to run my players through a few sessions earlier this year, but there’s still a great deal of work to be done before it’s ready for a complete playthrough. Eventually, I’ll get it finished, and I’ll share it with you all here.
Our first episode will be published here and on iTunes, Google Play, and Spotify no later than 8 PM EST on Wednesday, January 9th, 2019. Give us a listen, and hopefully you’ll get some enjoyment out of our tabletop trials and tribulations. In the meantime, like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, and feel free to leave a comment or shoot us an email.
